Southeast Michigan Homeland Security Consortium Procures Three GPV Sergeant 4X4 Vehicles
The Southeast Michigan Homeland Security Consortium approved and has ordered three GPV Sergeant 4X4 vehicles to regionally support law enforcement and first responder efforts in Southeast, Michigan.
Vehicles funded with State Homeland Security Program -
Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI)
With the support of funding from the State Homeland Security Program under the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) these three multiple mission vehicles will serve law enforcement, haz-mat, search and rescue, fire authorities, and emergency management needs throughout the southeast portion of the state. The versatility and capabilities of the GPV Sergeant 4X4 vehicle will be available to all law enforcement and first responder agencies via an agreement put into place under a mutual aid format. GPV is proud to participate in this significant and dynamic effort to protect and preserve the citizens, first responders, and critical infrastructure of the State of Michigan.
